Makom Kavua

In anticipation of the delivery of our new building, numerous members came forward and requested the opportunity to buy their seats or "makom" in our beautiful new sanctuary.

Therefore, to honor these requests and as a way to continue our fund raising efforts for KCT, we are allowing members to acquire naming rights for seats in shul for $1200 per chair and for a three year period.  This would not preclude others from sitting in these chairs as everyone, (members and guests), are always welcome and can sit in any chair, but this will allow the shul to raise much needed funds for operations and allow members to name their "makom", if they chose to do so. If you are interested in naming rights for a seat (men or womens section), please e-mail Matthew Koenig (matthew.koenig@ey.com) and he will send you the seating chart so you can pick the seats you are interested in naming.

Only members in good standing who have paid all prior balances and signed up for next year's membership may buy these naming rights. There will obviously be more than enough seating in the new shul for all members and guests. as we will have more than 370 seats in our main sanctuary or nearly double or current capacity, and as long as you have signed up for membership, including, if necessary, discussion with finance committee on any outstanding balances or to make arrangement for this upcoming year dues, and submitted your seating request; seats will be granted to all and any preferences on seating for high holidays will be accepted.
